DESCRIPTION

The Stripe Away sweater is worked top down and in the round with a simple, slip stitch stripe pattern using a contrast yarn.  The neck is shaped with some short rows and the yoke is worked in a stockinette stitch until it is split at the underarm.

Once the sleeve stitches are placed on hold, the body is worked in the round with the same stripe pattern until the hem bind off.  Then the sleeve stitches are picked up and worked the same as the body until the cuff bind off.

Video tutorials are available for some of the techniques in the pattern.
