DIO – The Angry Machines - The Demo Sessions

  The Angry Machines demos from 1995 offer a raw, unpolished preview of Ronnie James Dio's 1996 album, featuring early recordings with Dio on vocals, Tracy G on guitar, Vinny Appice on drums, and Jerry Best on bass (standing in for Jeff Pilson). Tracks like "Institutional Man," "Don't Tell the Kids," "Golden Rules," "This Is Your Life," "Double Monday," "Hunter of the Heart," and "God Hates Heavy Metal" sound heavier and more groove/thrash-oriented than the final polished versions. These rough takes give fans a fascinating alternate glimpse into the mid-90s sessions before the album's official release. In addition this CD offers 7 rare live tracks from the tour that follow the Album.
