In this friendly workshop you'll discover how to make four Half Square Triangles at a time, allowing you to create accurate patchwork blocks quickly and efficiently. Using these versatile units, you'll stitch together a beautiful star-inspired design before turning it into a practical quilted sewing machine mat.

Designed to sit beneath your sewing machine, your finished mat helps protect your table, reduces vibration and provides a lovely handmade touch to your sewing room. It's also a wonderful gift for any keen sewist.

Whether you've never made Half Square Triangles before or simply want to improve your accuracy, I'll guide you through every step with plenty of demonstrations, tips and individual support.

Please bring:

3 fat quarters (purple/pink & backing) plus 1/2m of pale background
Wadding: 20" square 
Matching sewing thread.
For the best results, please use 100% cotton quilting fabric.
