Once I finished the Shifting Gears pullover I thought, ‘Hey, this could make a fun toque’. So, here it is! Based on the image of clockwork gears, it is a bright colourful hat for the winter season.

Shifting Gears is a stranded colourwork toque knit seamlessly from the bottom up. The pattern uses three accent colours and a base colour and can be knit up quickly with scrap worsted weight yarn.
