A stylish colour work cowl, knitted in double-knit weight yarn, Tolkowsky is a thick and cosy piece of knitwear.

Named after Marcel Tolkowsky, who calculated the first angles for the ‘ideal’ cut diamond, the Tolkowsky Cowl feature a bold geometric triangle and diamond colourwork pattern. The patterning is enhanced through the use of highly contrasting yarns: a slightly variegated main colour and a dark contrast colour. The pattern would also work well with a pale contrast colour.

The Tolkowsky Cowl pattern has been fully tech-edited, and includes clear photographs, a colourwork chart and a schematic. An accompanying mitt pattern is also available separately.

CONSTRUCTION
The Tolkowsky Cowl is knitted in the round using a stranded colourwork technique.
