World War 2 In Review No. 000: Premier Issue
This first issue of World War 2 in Review is an introduction to the series and a basic primer on World War II. This is not meant to be an in-depth accounting - a thousand issues still would not even begin to do that. Many thousands of books and uncountable articles have been written over the years and the full history of the war has still not been covered, nor will it ever be.
World War 2 in Review will cover as much of the history of the war as possible: the campaigns, battles, home fronts, personalities, organizations, military units, weapons, aircraft, naval vessels, military vehicles, uniforms, insignia, equipment, and more, of the allied, axis and neutral nations.
It is hoped that you will find this series informative and enjoyable in your study of the history of World War II.
