Zip Open — Interactive Zipper Reveal

Zip Open gives visitors something to uncover. Pull a zipper and the fabric opens around your movement, revealing a short message beneath it. It is a small interactive moment for a launch, portfolio, announcement or brand page.

What is included

• One Framer Code Component with three complete styles: Canvas, Sport and Studio.
• Vertical orange canvas, horizontal blue fabric, and diagonal charcoal canvas, each with its own puller.
• Direct dragging that can be paused or reversed, with the opening left where you release it.
• Tap or click toggle and keyboard controls.
• Controls for message, initial opening, lining, text color, typeface, pull size and label.
• The component source, asset backups, installation guide, control reference, single-site commercial license, changelog and asset credits with font notices.

Editing

Choose a style, write your message and set its colors in Framer's properties panel. All three styles are included in the same purchase. The material, hardware and zipper direction belong to each style; they are not separate texture-upload controls.

Delivery

You receive one ZIP with the Framer installation URL, the generated ZipOpen.tsx source, asset backups and English documentation. There is no separate premium edition.

Requirements and exclusions

• A Framer project and a browser with WebGL, Canvas 2D, Pointer Events, ResizeObserver and CSS container queries.
• The interactive effect needs graphics support. If it is unavailable, a static fabric fallback explains why the interaction cannot run.
• No API key or separate backend is used by the component.
• This reveals text, not images, video, forms or arbitrary component layers. Sound, autoplay, automatic closing and content-gating are not included.
• A closed zipper does not protect private information. Keep essential content accessible elsewhere on the page.
• The demo's external style selector and open/close buttons are not inserted with the component.

License

One purchase covers one commercial website or end product for you or one client, with all three styles included. You may modify the component for that project. Redistribution, resale, source sharing, template resale and use across multiple projects are not included. Font software retains its separate license.
