Galactic Skirmish

A spin-off of War Dogs, Galactic Skirmish offers the same type gameplay with the standard deck of cards and a 1d6, 1d20 roll to eliminate enemy deployments, disengage floating mines and take over repair bays. Included are rules, charts, 2 mission maps and an added Career Mode option for more game engagement and having a career in the space program with your choice of 5 ships to use. There are 2 modes of play, just like in War Dogs with your choice to put Enemy Deployments ahead of time for all 5 planets ("Galactic Intel" version) or do them as you go, not knowing what's in store for your quest ("Deep Space Fog" version).

The Basic version is the 2 missions: Can you conquer all 10 planets and keep your Hull Integrity Points at a high premium to get a respectable ranking? You will do 1 mission at a time under one of the modes of play (have to stick to one of the game versions) as the rankings differ. The Career Mode gives you opportunity to climb the ranks and gain special bonuses for future battles and engagements until you retire, fail as a leader or possibly perish in combat.
