These spools were originally made at this size to celebrate the launch of the Aurifil #GreatBritishQuilter Threadbox. There are three spool options: skinny, medium and full, each is foundation paper pieced and all blocks are 6" x 7" finished. This is a free block pattern for home use. The picture shows the quilt used at The Festival of Quilts 2018 on the Aurifil stand which features the full spools.
