Winter Art Lesson Rabbit Birch Trees Winter Art Project Winter Art Activity
This Winter Rabbit Art Project is a guided drawing lesson where students create a cozy winter scene of a rabbit nestled among snowy birch trees. It suits seasonal art lessons, nature-inspired themes and exploring oil pastel techniques.
Students follow a directed drawing tutorial to sketch their rabbit, then layer oil pastels for depth and texture and use paint to create contrast and atmosphere. It teaches composition, contrast and mixed-media techniques, and it is an easy-to-follow, low-prep project for art teachers, classroom teachers and homeschooling parents.

★★★★ “students really enjoyed and had fun with this resource this year” Madison P.
★★★★ “I can't say enough good things about this art lesson! From start to finish, it was engaging, fun, and incredibly educational. The clear and concise step-by-step instructions made it easy to guide the kids through the process, even for those who might not consider themselves particularly artistic. Every child was fully engaged throughout the lesson, and it was such a joy to watch their creativity shine as they worked on their projects. The lesson itself is beautifully designed, striking a perfect balance between being simple enough for kids to follow and allowing plenty of room for their individual expression. By the end, the kids’ finished pieces were absolutely stunning—each one unique and a true reflection of their hard work and imagination. They were so proud of what they created, and seeing their excitement was a highlight. Beyond being a fun activity, this lesson was also an excellent opportunity to teach art concepts in a way that felt natural and accessible. The kids learned techniques they could carry forward into other projects while also developing a sense of accomplishment and pride in their abilities. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone looking for a meaningful and enjoyable art experience for kids. Whether you’re a teacher, a parent, or just someone looking for a creative activity, this resource is a gem. I will definitely be using it again in the future!” Emma P.
