Motivation is what helps us to change. As a life coach, part of your job is to understand how motivation works, (or doesn’t) and how to help clients when it fades. When you learn the difference between short bursts of excitement and steady routines, you can help people build habits that last.
Knowing this makes you a stronger coach. You’ll be able to tell when someone’s feeling stuck and help them through it. You’ll learn what really pushes them—like wanting control, connection, or a challenge—and use that in your coaching. That’s how real change happens.
