Program Note:
These short duos are, in my opinion, a valuable addition to the chamber music repertoire for tuba.
They are easy, contrasting pieces in which the dialogue between the two performers is clear and engaging.
This work was commissioned by and dedicated to my colleagues Pedro Henriques and Pedro Santos, who at the time were students at the Caldas da Rainha Conservatory, in Professor Adélio Carneiro’s tuba class.
