Grace In The Rubble
She didn't find Katie at a funeral home.
She found her at a farmstand — browsing a little library attached to the side, taking a book she needed without knowing why. And something about the woman tending the garden that day made her stop. And talk. And eventually sit on a bench beside a cornfield and say out loud what she had been carrying alone.
This story is for everyone whose grief doesn't have a funeral. A loss that the world didn't stop for. A life that came undone in ways that are hard to name.
You are allowed to grieve it. Grace is already in the rubble with you.
