For those who carry so much, so well.
There is a quieter way to live — slower, softer, and deeply your own. Rest & Restoration is an invitation to set down the weight of doing, and to remember that you are already enough, exactly as you are. It guides you gently back to rest, to stillness, and to a sense of peace that has been waiting for you all along.
A gentle note on hypnosis
This is a hypnosis-based guided meditation. It gently guides you into a deeply relaxed, meditative state in which the subconscious becomes open and receptive. In this calm, natural state, gentle and positive suggestions settle more deeply than they can in ordinary waking thought. You remain aware, at ease, and in gentle control throughout, and you can return to full alertness whenever you wish.
What this is
A 25min guided hypnosis meditation for burnout recovery and deep rest, made for the capable and the driven — those who give so much, and rarely stop. Through Gerrit's real, spoken voice and live, improvised piano, it moves you gently through trust, surrender, allowance, flow, and slowing down, into a place of quiet peace.
How it works
The patterns that shape our lives — how we rest, how we strive, and what we believe we are worth — live largely in the subconscious mind. In a relaxed, receptive state, the subconscious becomes open to new and gentler patterns. This recording guides you there, and then, through clear, calm, present-tense language repeated with intention, it gently plants new, self-honouring truths: that you are safe to slow down, that your worth is already whole, that rest is already yours. The live improvised piano carries the emotional arc of the journey and gently guides your body toward calm, while calibrated 528 Hz frequency is woven softly through the sound. Because new patterns take hold through repetition, this meditation is designed to be listened to once daily for twenty-one days — each listening laying the new pattern a little deeper.
What makes this different
Real voice · Live piano · No AI-generated audio.
Every moment of this recording is human. It is created and recorded by Gerrit Visser, a certified hypnosis practitioner and classically trained pianist. The voice is his own. The piano is improvised live by his own hands, played in response to the recorded voice — never a pre-made loop, never library music, never AI-generated sound. Where many meditations today are polished yet empty, this one carries real human presence — something alive that only a living person can offer.
A note on source
Beneath the rest and the stillness, this work gently reconnects you to source — to truth, to love, to joy, to peace. There is no religion here, and no doctrine — only an open, universal invitation that a person of any background, or none, can receive fully.
How to use it
Find a quiet space where you can be undisturbed. Settle somewhere comfortable, and listen with headphones if you can. Let yourself be led — there is nothing you need to do. Listen once a day for twenty-one days, ideally at the same time each day. It is completely fine to drift off; the work continues beneath your awareness. As this meditation guides you into deep rest, listen only somewhere you can safely relax or fall asleep.
