You’ll be delighted to make the acquaintance of this cowl pattern. 

Easygoing slipped stitches and eyelets make the most of variegated yarn, mixing and mingling the colors as you go.


This pattern is intended to break up blocks of color (pooling and flashing) in variegated yarns. If you find that your colors are stacking up in your cowl in ways you don’t like, consider starting over, adjusting your cast on by 8 stitches smaller or larger (noting that this will also change the finished circumference by 1.25”/3.5 cm and will affect yarn usage).

Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply 

100% superwash Merino wool; 400 yd/3.9 oz (365 m/110 g) skeins 

1 skein, shown in Charmed

Or approximately 400 yards/365 meters of fingering weight yarn.


Finished Measurements

Circumference: 24”/60 cm 

Height: 13”/32.5 cm


Needles

US 3 3.25mm circular needles, 16”/40 cm long, or size to obtain gauge


Gauge

Blocked: 25 stitches and 50 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Honeycomb pattern

Gauge is not crucial for this project, but will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.
