Dead By Chance

Murder is a high stakes gamble … Amateur sleuth and tour hostess Betty Chance is on a winning streak in Deadwood, South Dakota, a town famous for gambling, gold, and ghosts. Her good fortune shifts when a married man’s body turns up dead in a hot tub and her clients’ hotel rooms are being robbed. Against the sheriff’s orders, Betty and her son begin to investigate. Tillie McFinn is convinced spirits from the past are to blame for the stolen items and uses her ghost hunting skills to find answers. Only this time, searching for spirits turns out to be a deadly pastime.
