Photo → 10-second vertical reel (script + 3 samples)
Three photos in, one 1080x1920 clip out - in about 20 seconds.
WHAT YOU NEED (read this first)
- Python 3 (free, two minutes from python.org)
- three photos you own
WHAT YOU GET
- photo_reel.py, the generator (no service dependencies)
- job.json, the only file you edit: title, subtitle, price, three photo paths
- run.command (macOS) / run.bat (Windows): double-click launchers that install what they need on first run
- 3 sample clips made with this exact script
- README with the whole flow, including what to do when it breaks
WHAT IT MAKES: MP4, 1080x1920, 30fps, 10.00s, H.264. Each photo fitted whole, blurred copy filling the frame, no black bars. Slow push-in, hard cuts, three progress dots, title and subtitle, optional price tag. No audio track.
The script has no network code at all: photos are read from disk, frames rendered locally, ffmpeg runs on your machine. Nothing is uploaded. The only download happens once, on first run, when the launcher installs two Python libraries.
