When the world feels loud, the breath leads us home.

Inhale… Exhale… and feel calm begin.

This book is a soft, meditative practice wrapped in rhyme — helping children use their breath as a guide to soothe the body, settle the mind, and return to peace.

"Take a breath — big as a balloon,

touching the rivers and tickling the moon..."

From the first line to the last, You Are The Light wraps you in warmth and wonder.

For children. For you. For those days we forget our glow.

Perfect for: mindfulness practices, calming down time, and sleep routines.

Loved it

My daughter said my breath feels like a river now. This book does more than teach breathing. It teaches presence.

Very clever title as Eath looks like Earth

Very clever title as Eath looks like Earth - as you know when we look at a word, we just skim it and recognise its form. Children are so tuned in to taking care of the Earth and if you nudge the r forwards a couple of letters, it would say Earth.
1. I felt a lovely sense of reassurance with this little book. Again, a sense of mystery and a secret being shared that I would want to share with others.
2. I really liked the opening page, as it brought me to a place of presence and curiosity, wanting to know more and feel the flow of the breath. It felt like a little journey. The curiosity continued throughout the book and I loved the reassurance at the end knowing the breath would always be here for me!
I would recommend it, not just to young, budding yogis, but also those who feel anxious or fearful. It was very comforting. It would be great for teachers to read this to children at the start of the day to help them centre and calm.
