This retro sci-fi film tells the fictional story of a crew member aboard a UEC Research Station orbiting Mars. A genetically engineered alien creature has escaped confinement, and the inexperienced crew aboard the station scramble to contain the situation. She finds the creature chewing on one of her colleagues, and frantically fires her energy pistol at the monstrosity. Her weapon – unknowingly in a low-power configuration – barely dents the creature, and she finds herself in the maw of the monster a moment later.
