These are my SQE ethics/ professional conduct notes! Professional conduct is a very important part of the SQE and being a solicitor but is easily overlooked when revising for this exam. It pervades all SQE exams so is not something you can ignore.

These notes cover the SRA Principles, Codes of Conduct, client care and more (they do not go over SRA Accounts Rules).

These notes provide no guarantee that any/all of this information will be covered in your SQE exams, nor that this is the only information that could arise for professional conduct. These are simply the notes I used when preparing for my exams.

It is ESSENTIAL that you consult the primary resources. You must read the primary resources (eg the SRA Principles) in their entirety so you understand what exactly is expected of you both for these exams and in future when you begin your legal career.
