Keo Keo Sweater

The Keo Keo Sweater adds texture and detail to a classic V-neck design. Based on our Keo Keo Road vest, it features shaped stockinette and seed stitch panels framed by simple cable borders.

It requires a classic DK (8-ply) yarn at a gauge of 22 sts and 30 rows over 10 cm (4 in).

The sweater is worked from the bottom up in the round to the armholes, with the front and back then worked separately and seamed at the shoulders. For the sleeves, you can choose between two construction methods according to your preferred way of knitting and finishing: work them flat from the bottom up and seam them into the armholes, or pick up stitches around the armholes and work them seamlessly in the round from the top down. 

Difficulty Level

This pattern should be achievable for advanced beginners, while also providing enough detail to keep more experienced knitters interested.

Choose a DK (8 ply) yarn recommended for 4 mm (US 6) needles with a gauge of 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm (4 inches).
