The Letter in the Library

Some letters wait a lifetime to be read.

Restoring a donated book of poems for the Hollow Library's autumn exhibit, children's librarian Clara Benson finds a love letter tucked between the pages — written in 1946 by a young soldier named Thomas Hale to a girl known only as "E." It was never sent.

Inside:

• A standalone sweet romance in Maple Hollow

• Children's librarian Clara Benson

• The Hollow Library's autumn exhibit

• A 1946 love letter that was never sent

• Small-Town Hearts, Book 2, in a 109-page PDF

Who was "E." — and why did the letter never reach her?
