Psychotherapy 1:1
REMEMBER, RECONNECT, RECLAIM, RENEW YOU
"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process aimed at improving mental health and well-being. Within a safe, confidential container, which both therapist and client create together, the goal of psychotherapy is to facilitate the individual’s understanding of their true nature, leading to more improved choices, and a sense of wellbeing in their life.
Within this safe space the individual can openly talk about their trauma, feelings, thoughts, and desires.. By uncovering patterns, reclaiming their intuition, and inner guidance, they develop more confidence to trust their own answers, and become more self-directive.
Therapy is NOT about "fixing" someone, but empowering them to navigate their struggles, self-regulate their emotions, and integrate all parts of them more effectively, body, mind, emotion, and spirit.
Susan's integrative and holistic approach, coming from a transpersonal perspective, (“transpersonal” meaning “beyond the personal”), is integrative and flexible.
Tailoring her methods to help clients gain deeper self-awareness and meaning, Susan draws from a toolbox of strategies, combining techniques and theories from multiple schools of thought, and modalities.
Having graduated in 1997 from CCPE, Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education, in London, Susan's current studies include Narcissistic Abuse, Attachment Theory, and The Certificate Program in Traumatic Stress Studies with Dr Bessel van der Kolk and his various colleagues
Susan's training and CPD, (Continuing Professional Development), with renowned psychologists, philosophers, teachers, mystics, and authors, including Authentic Movement with Linda Hartley, Experiential Anatomy with Andrea Olsen, 5Rhythms, Meditation, Holistic Massage, and Process-Oriented Psychology with Arnie and Amy Mindell, continue to influence her therapeutic journey.
“Soul-making is allowing the eternal essence to enter and experience the outer world through the [entire] body so that the soul grows during its time on Earth. It grows like an embryo in the womb"
Marian Woodman, author and psychologist
Blending traditional psychology with ideas from Eastern philosophies and Western mysticism, the underlying premise is it is not about “fixing what’s broken”, but more about the individual exploring the full spectrum of human consciousness, and acquiring a sense of unity with nature, and the universe.

“I just had to let you know of the changes that have come to pass – especially as you were privy to my fears and horrors over those two years I saw you. ……I’d just like to thank you again for your great skills of listening and understanding”
"I feel very priviledged to have had so much support from you and very very lucky. I know you have helped me to be more of who I am and shown me some tools to help me find more.
I would like to thank you with all my heart for all you have been to me and all the help you have given me.”
“You have been to me a very loving unconditional support over the last (near) decade……… this space that you and I have created is where, quite a lot of the time, I have allowed myself, and been allowed to be myself and for none of that time have I ever felt it wasn’t okay.”
