Autumn Activities Autumn Art Activities Autumn Art Lessons Autumn Art Sub Plans
This Autumn ARTivity Book is a print-and-go visual art workbook that pairs Fall themes with real art instruction. Students learn the Elements of Art (color, line, value, space and texture) and the Principles of Design (movement, repetition and emphasis) through pumpkins, leaves, owls, squirrels, mushrooms and Autumn landscapes.
It is made for elementary art teachers, classroom teachers and homeschool families working with K to 5 students. Along the way students practice warm colors, complementary colors, zen doodle patterns, monochromatic value shading, symmetry and radial symmetry, roll and draw games, landscape building, grid drawing and creative prompt drawing, and finish with a reflection and artist statement.
WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING
★★★★ “We do not have an art class available for our students so I am always trying to find ways to integrate art into my classroom. These activities help me achieve that. They give me the tools to cover art concepts and then apply them in fun (and seasonal) art activities.” Sarah I.

ALL TEACHER REVIEWS
★★★★ “This was great. Students enjoyed them. I highly recommend.” Lindsey M.
★★★★ “Love these and I am glad it covers all different styles. My kids use this as a bit of an art independent book.” Passionate P.
★★★★ “Such a great resource. I love how each page explains a certain skill and then they get to practice it. My students enjoy this!” Arlene R.
★★★★ “Great addition to my Sub Choice binder! Instructions are easy to follow and don't require tons of materials. Lots of positive feedback from "non-arty" subs!” Melissa C.
★★★★ “Love it!” Christy D.
★★★★ “I was absent for 2 weeks last year and this was a great resource for the sub to know students always had something to work on even if they finished another project early. I know middle school students need more challenging projects than most elementary classes, but sometimes I think our students still need some time to color a page and process life.” Lauren B.
★★★★ “Clear directions & informative worksheets for use with my middle school artists.” Katie K.
★★★★ “Easy to follow activities for any art class - thanks!!!” Verna L.
