Vladimir Putin acts much like Adolf Hitler in his day. Hitler came to power partly through parliamentary elections but then staged a coup d'état and acquired the absolute power of a Dictator. Vladimir Putin managed to convince Boris Yeltsin of his excellence. Yeltsin chose Putin as his successor. Not a sober decision (Yeltsin probably wasn't even sober) Yeltsin has stated that he regretted that decision. Hitler made up his own stories for reasons to attack other countries completely illegally. Hitler attacked Poland, but Putin chose Ukraine. Hitler took Austria without the need for military action. Hubris grew with Hitler's successes, but defeating the rest of the world is difficult. Putin will discover the same.
