Reading Comprehension Texts (from Beginners to Intermediate)

A reading comprehension bundle for 5 different learning levels with 50 different passages. (from Beginners up to Intermediate). This is my ultimate guide of reading comprehension handouts that I use in class to teach my students reading strategies such as:

• reading for information
• skimming text
• highlighting keywords
• visualizing the text
• understanding the meaning of unknown words in context

The bundle includes 10 reading comprehension handouts for each level:

• Beginners Level A
• Starters Level A1
• Elementary Level A1-A2
• pre-Intermediate Level A2
• Intermediate Level B1

(in total 50 reading handouts) and their corresponding answers that can be used in class in a presentation. A table of contents and some quick tips are also included.

Each handout is unique and appropriate for its level. Extra activities are used to help student further their text understanding. Stories are getting more complex, fun and interesting as we get to higher levels.
