My Daily Questions App: Getting to Know Yourself
Getting to Know Yourself
Designed for clients who have spent so long attending to others that they have lost touch with their own preferences, wants and needs. The presenting difficulty is often not dramatic — it shows up as a genuine inability to answer the question: what do you actually want?
Questions move through five tiers: noticing small things about the day; identifying personal preferences and comfort; moving toward wants and aspiration; acknowledging unmet needs; and, at the deepest tier, exploring the kind of life the client wants to live.
What Makes it Work
The early tiers are genuinely low-threshold. The first questions ask nothing more than: was there a moment today when you felt more comfortable? No personal disclosure is required, and nothing difficult is asked too soon. For clients who habitually redirect to others when asked about themselves, this pacing is important.
Particularly Useful For
Clients presenting with people-pleasing patterns, codependency, chronic self-neglect, or difficulty identifying what they want from therapy itself.
About the 'My Daily Questions' Series
Each app delivers one reflective question per day to your client, drawn from a bank of twenty questions organised into five clinical tiers. The tiers move gradually from gentle, concrete entry points toward deeper self-exploration — so the questions ask less of your client early on, and more as the relationship with the app develops.
Answers are stored only on your client's device. Nothing is transmitted online. Everything stays private to them.
No app store. No account. No ongoing cost. Your client taps a link once to install it on their phone — it works like any other app, including offline.
