Metallica Zoom G1xOn / G1On Patch Bundle (Gig-Tested)

Product Description

Get the definitive, gig-tested Metallica guitar tones for your Zoom G1xOn or G1On multi-effects processor!

This digital download features an upgraded, improved version of the tones shown in my tutorial video. These patches have been meticulously tweaked, fully tested, and gigged live to ensure they cut perfectly through the mix, sound massive at high volumes, and eliminate any digital harshness.

This bundle includes two power-packed patches that cover everything from their legendary lush, chorused clean tones to their iconic, scooped thrash metal rhythm crunch and screaming, Cry-Baby-fueled solos.

📦 What You Will Receive:

1. H7 Metal CLN – The ultimate, spacey, chorused clean sound. Specifically dialed in to capture the haunting beauty of the Enter Sandman intro and ballad textures like One or Welcome Home (Sanitarium).
2. H8 Metal Lead – Your all-in-one heavy patch. This covers both your crushing rhythm distortion and your main solo settings. Switch to your bridge pickup, and it instantly delivers that raw, biting thrash crunch needed for the Seek & Destroy intro riff. Push firmly down on the expression pedal toe to engage Kirk Hammett's signature, screaming solo wah!
3. H9 Sitar - This is useful for Wherever I may roam intro.

✨ Why Choose This Upgraded Version?

• Gig-Tested EQ: Dialed in on real PA systems and amplifiers to make sure the bass remains tight (no muddy low-end) and the high-gain is incredibly focused.
• Dual-Purpose Dist & Lead: The distortion patch handles heavy rhythm palm-muting flawlessly, but has the built-in headroom and delay spacing to instantly transform into a fluid solo tone.
• Toe-Engaged Wah Integration: The classic Metallica Dunlop Cry Baby sweep is mapped right to your expression pedal. Just click the toe down mid-song to transition into a blazing solo, then click it off to go straight back to heavy rhythm riffs.

🔧 How to Load the Patches:

1. Connect your Zoom G1xOn / G1On to your computer via USB.
2. Open the ToneLib Zoom software.
3. Import both the H7 Metal CLN.g1xon and H8 Metal Lead.g1xon files.
4. Save them directly into slots H7, H8 and H9 on your pedal for immediate, seamless switching during your setlist!

Please note: This download contains digital patch files only. A Zoom multi-effects pedal with a built-in expression pedal (G1xOn) and ToneLib software are required to utilize the toe-engaged wah functionality.
