Out of Alignment — Chapter Two (Elise’s POV)
She went back to the garage for her suitcase. Obviously.
Less than twenty-four hours after breaking down on the E6, Elise has far more important things to worry about than the British mechanic who came to rescue her: a failing marriage, no permanent home, four jobs, and a MINI still sitting in his workshop.
Unfortunately, James Moore is becoming increasingly difficult to treat like just the mechanic.
A warranty call gives her the perfect excuse to return. A forgotten suitcase turns into coffee, personal questions, unexpected discoveries and a drive back to Vallerud. And somewhere between learning his full name and realising just how much he has noticed about her, Elise begins to understand that whatever is happening between them may not be entirely one-sided.
Then she leaves something else behind.
