Ketron SD90 SoundFont (SF2) – Full Pack | 6 Sound Banks + Full Drums

Ketron SD90 SoundFont (SF2) Full Pack is a complete SoundFont library created from my own Ketron SD90.

The library contains the available SD90 instruments that I sampled and prepared individually for use as multisampled SF2 instruments. Each instrument was sampled across a wide keyboard range, using multiple samples per instrument to achieve a more natural and realistic response.

The original sampling process was done by connecting the Ketron SD90 via MIDI to Extreme Sample Converter and sampling the instruments individually. After sampling, the instruments were further edited and prepared, including loops, release settings and other parameters where needed.

This project required many hours of sampling, editing, testing and organization. The result is a large and practical SF2 library designed for musicians who want access to a broad selection of Ketron SD90-based sounds in a portable SoundFont format.

🎧 SOUND & SAMPLING

The sounds were sampled directly from my own Ketron SD90 using MIDI-controlled sampling.

Rather than using a single sample stretched across a large keyboard range, the instruments were sampled using multiple samples across the keyboard where applicable. This helps preserve the character and response of the original sounds.

After the sampling process, the instruments were edited and prepared for practical SF2 use. Some instruments include loops, release settings and other parameters adjusted during the editing process.

This library was created from samples taken from my own Ketron SD90 and prepared independently as a SoundFont library.

The purpose of this product is to provide a practical and portable SF2 solution based on the sounds of the Ketron SD90.

The SF2 instruments are designed to reproduce the character of the sampled SD90 sounds, but they should not be considered an exact replacement for the original hardware.

Some instruments use loops in order to keep the library practical in size and performance. Loop behaviour and sound characteristics may vary between instruments and playback software.
