This is a private, 60-minute labour preparation session tailored entirely to you. Whether you want to understand the physiology, build your confidence, prepare your partner, explore tools or create a plan for your final weeks - you get to choose how we spend the hour. Think of it as having your own birth guide in your pocket: someone who can translate the science, cut through the noise, and help you feel grounded, informed and powerful as you step towards birth.
Inside our session, we can explore anything you need, including:
1. The Physiology of Birth
Understanding how your body is designed to birth and how to work with it
- The physiology of birth and how to work with your body
- The role of hormones: oxytocin, endorphins, adrenaline and how to support them.
- The fear-tension–pain cycle and how to break it.
2. What to Expect During Labour
What’s happening at each stage of labour, how it may feel and what to do to support yourself.
- What to expect during the stages of labour and what to do at each stage (early, active, transition, birth).
- How labour may feel / progress and what to look out for (signs, sensations and patterns).
- When to call your midwife and / or go to hospital.
- What happens after birth (birthing the placenta and the golden hour).
3. Labour Tools
An exploration of all the tools available to you during labour.
- Positions & movement for each stage (early labour at home, active labour, pushing).
- Breathing techniques for every stage of labour (up breathing, surge breathing, J-breathing, horse lips, pant-pant-blow).
- Sound & vocalisation.
- Sensory comfort tools (water, heat/cold packs, essential oils, sunglasses/eye mask).
- Physical tools (TENS, birthing comb, massage, counterpressure etc).
- Mindset tools (affirmations, focal points, visualisations etc).
4. Labour Preparation
A deep dive into how to prepare your mind, body, birth partner, nervous system and environment for birth.
- Mindset (unlearn fear-based stories, reframe pain as intensity, use of positive language, affirmations, visualisation, the art of surrender).
- Physical (positions, daily movement, perineal massage, optimal fetal positioning, nutrition, hydration, rest).
- Nervous system (breathwork, relaxation practice, anchoring techniques, hypnobirthing techniques).
- Birth partner (understanding their role, exploring how they can support you mentally, physically and as your advocate).
- Birthing environment (how to create a “birth bubble” to support your hormonal flow).
5. Navigating the System
How to stay informed, empowered and in control of your choices in the hospital maternity system.
- Understanding interventions and pain relief options.
- Knowing rights and choices in the hospital system.
- Looking out for red flags.
- Tools for decision-making.
- Writing a birth preferences document.
6. Next steps
Creating a plan for your final weeks so you feel confident and prepared.

Please in get contact at any time if you're not satisfied with your session. I do my best to ensure all clients are happy and need to determine on a case-by-case basis the eligibility of refunds.
How does appointment scheduling work?
When you've completed purchasing you'll be able to login to your coaching account and can find out the next steps required to book a time for your session from there.
Is it possible to buy more than one session?
Definitely! I do a bundle of 3 x 1 hour sessions for £222.
