This worksheet for Dutch learners at the B1-1 level consists of two pages, one for Student A and one for Student B. The exercise allowes students to practice the use of er and daar with a preposition. The answers are provided in this worksheet.


Instructions

Task 1. Listen to your classmate, then say your answer given in the table below. When you answer, use ER or DAAR correctly in your sentence. For example, you hear: “Praat Frank over zijn vakantie?”, and you see: Nee, … (er) You then answer: “Nee, hij praat er niet over.” If you see: Nee, … (daar), you answer: “Nee, daar praat hij niet over.” or “Nee, daarover praat hij niet.” or “Nee, hij praat daar niet over.”


Task 2. Read sentences 1-8 to your classmate. Your classmate should answer with the correct words. Check your classmate’s answer. If it is not good, say: “Dat is niet goed.” Give your classmate three chances to get it right. If it is not right the third time, give the answer.
