Winter Well
I'm Dr. Monique A. Osborne, PMHNP-BC, a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
I have the privilege of working with people through some of life's most challenging seasons— both literally and figuratively speaking.
Over the years, I've seen how the changing seasons can affect us, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally. I've watched people slow down as fall arrives, their faces dropping with the temperature. As winter settles in, they become increasingly withdrawn, tired, unmotivated, and deeply depressed. Once Spring begins to show signs of returning, people "thaw" out, returning to their vibrant and peaceful selves.
And somehow, we made it through.
But what if we didn't have to simply make it through winter?
What if we could learn to understand it, prepare for it, and care for ourselves differently while we're in it?
That is why I created Winter Well.
