The Collateral -- Part 2: Secured Asset

I became a slave to save my family. It was supposed to be a formality for a bank loan. Nothing but a change of my status on a piece of paper. 

But it isn’t working out that way.

My older brother keeps whispering in my dad's ear, reminding him that I’m no longer his son. I'm his property. And one by one, Dad is finding an excuse to break his promises. He’s even got a chain collar welded around my neck.

My friends and neighbors are starting to look at me differently. Not as the boy that they’ve known for years. But as a blond-haired blue-eyed piece of livestock. 

And my big brother has some ideas on how to make money with a fresh young slave.
