Course Description
In this self-paced course, your learner will learn how to add visual imagery, feelings, and personification into writing. In addition, your student will learn how to organize a story within a plot diagram. Each lesson includes an icebreaker, a short video introduction, a lesson video, a quick-write assignment, and a descriptive or creative writing assignment.
Course Format
This class is completely self-paced. There are no live classes. Learners view the lessons at their own pace. The suggested workflow is 4 weeks.
Each lesson includes the following:
- Icebreaker activity
- Short video introduction
- Quick-write assignment
- Video lessons with explanations about writing concepts
- Descriptive or creative writing assignment
The class format includes optional teacher feedback. To receive feedback, upload writing responses to the assignment area, or add comments to the discussion posts.
Students have access to the course for one year after the date of purchase.
