Originally handmade as a personal gift for my partner nearly two years ago, Kelso explores the geography of new love: the nervous excitement of early dates, the comfort of growing familiarity, the vulnerability of letting someone see you fully. These poems are snapshots of a relationship taking root—honest, raw, and deeply felt.
The first in a series documenting our love story, Kelso captures those foundational moments when everything felt new and electric, when we were still learning each other's languages.
