Queens project started in 2020. Dee Dee Simon had an idea to bring 10 ladies together for an amazing Christmas album.  Each Queen contributed a song that was fire.  The Queens started to come together as a group.  They not only became a group but they became each others' cheerleader. Every queen had their own personality and own style; that is what made the project unique. 

The new album, WINTER IS COMING, is another contribution from a new group of talented Queens. All hailing from different states with a love of Southern Soul and Blues.  This year, Dee Dee Simon wrote all the songs and 2Buck Chuck is responsible for the musical production.  These Queens planned a getaway to Baton Rouge, La to record this album in 4 days.  They laughed, encouraged each other, and fellowshiped. Dee Dee Simon and 2Buck Chuck took the raw files back to California where the mixing and mastering magic happen.   Never done before, it was done with style and grace. 

Each song speaks of wish lists, good feelings, reminiscing, and dancing. All these ingredients definitely sets the mood.
