In this Big Master Magic Course we teach a large portion of Michael Skinner's Magic Repertoire.

Master Magician Darin Martineau was a friend of Michael Skinner and learned a lot of magic from him and got to attend his secret Magic Club in Las Vegas regularly at The Cavalier. In this Magic Course Darin will also teach many of his own Original Magic routines and Special Magic as well.

About Michael Skinner

(Born Rochester, NY - August 9, 1941 - September 3, 1998)

Learned Magic at age 17 from books at New York City branch library. 

He was a magic student of Eddie Fechter of the FFFF (Fechters Finger Flicking Frolic)

A Magic convention is the "Original Close-Up Magic Convention" and the most prestigious gathering of close-up magicians in the world. Since 1971 it has been a By-Invitation-Only event.

Michael Skinner moved to Hollywood in 1967, studying under Dai Vernon and Larry Jennings. 

He also had many top professional magician friends including; Roger Klause, Allan Ackerman, Bill Goodwin and many more....

Michael Skinner was a World Class professional, Award-Winning Close-Up Magician. 

AMA Best Close-up Magician 1971 and 1974. 

Mentor of Bob King and Robert Lansing. 

Michael was also a cruise ship worker and magic shop demonstrator. 

He was the resident magician at Golden Nugget (Lily Langtry Restaurant) in Las Vegas since 1976.

He also performed Magic twice on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.

Michael Skinner was known for his large Magic repertoire. 

He was reported to have once performed 28 consecutive shows without the repetition of a single trick during a full week of bookings at the Magic Castle.

Awarded Best Close-up Magician twice and was awarded a Performing Fellowship in 1997 by the Academy of Magical Arts.
