Object Lesson

Object Lesson, created in 2011 by John Robert Beck, is an intricate abstract artwork built from layered curves, transparent forms, and radiant bands of color. Waves of gold, violet, orange, and magenta move through the composition in a way that feels both architectural and musical, as if the image is unfolding in rhythm. Its overlapping shapes create depth and tension while the glowing palette adds warmth and drama. This piece offers a strong contemporary presence and rewards repeated viewing with new relationships of form, space, and movement.
