This is the end, they thought, feeling fingers sinking under their skin, forming harsh cracks across their body. Their head will be removed, and their so called "everlasting" life will be over. As the cracks crawled up their face, and down their body, they closed their eyes. Let it come. When they opened it next, spiraling bright light swam in their vision, warm surrounding them. "No, not yet. I'm not done with you." A voice, soft like silk and sweet and honey cooed. "Try again, and try to pick less fights this time~." The voiced teased.

Sakura blinked, the lights fading as air entered their lungs in a gasp, waking up in the slums of some new city. The cracks that marred their body now shimmered, the void filled with the same swirling rainbow light they swore they were just consumed by.
