Bubu Baker and the Regrettable Bulk #1: Bulked Out

One bad drink. Forty-seven flavors. One regrettable transformation.

Bubu Baker wants a simple life: bake fresh buns, serve good food, and survive another day at the family business.

Then an experimental military energy drink called NUKE JUICE gets mixed into a routine delivery.

Bubu takes a drink.

Then another.

Big mistake.

Now something enormous, bald, furious, and spectacularly psychedelic lives inside him: THE REGRETTABLE BULK.

Unfortunately, Bulk doesn't need another drink to come out. Anxiety will do it. Frustration will do it. A stubborn fly will do it. And asking Bulk why he's angry is generally a terrible idea.

From demolished bakeries and disastrous graduation catering to a confrontation with the outrageous heavy-metal band BONE YARD, Bubu learns that his new problem isn't going away. When machine-gun guitars, grenades, explosive drums, burgers, bread, and one increasingly irritated monster collide, catering becomes something considerably louder.

And somehow, Bulk ends up with a bass guitar.

Good food. Good people. Even monsters welcome.

Bubu Baker and the Regrettable Bulk #1: Bulked Out launches a dark superhero satire about transformation, escalation, continuity, ridiculous power levels, and what happens when making everything bigger stops making anything better.
