Sansa & Arya is the first of a collection of transformable hats, dedicated to famous sisters in movies and TV shows. For the moment the collection is limited to just 2 pieces, but I’m sure it will grow with time.

This hat can be worn as a slouchy hat or a bonnet, and its transformation is as easy as opening or closing some buttons.

The special mosaic stitch adds fun to the piece. It’s easy to work, but the result is absolutely gorgeous, so that this hat is a pure joy to knit and to wear!

.

This hat is worked bottom up in one piece, in an allover slip stitch pattern that creates a beautiful play of colors and textures.

The project is started from the brim, worked flat so that it can be worn open, then the work is joined in the round for the crown, shaped with decreases strategically placed to maintain the stitch pattern.

Finally an i-cord is added along the brim selvedges to create buttonholes.
