Wolfthrone: Pure Darkness (A very simple synth)

This is not a musical instrument.

Don't try to play songs or melodies with this. Pure Darkness is a dedicated tool for one thing: creating uncomfortable, dark, and scary background atmospheres. I built this for people who need to create "tension" and "horror vibes" without messing around with standard synths that sound too clean.

What it does: It generates drones and textures that feel "alive" and broken. It’s about the sound of an abyss, a haunted room, or a freezing cold wind.

The Sound Sources:

• EVIL: Gritty, distorted drone.
• CHOIR: Ghostly, ritual-like sounds
• ABYSS: Deep, heavy sub-bass that you feel in your chest.
• FROST: Harsh, cold noise and aggressive

Controls: You have knobs like DOOM and SPITE to break the sound and make it lo-fi. The VOID knob puts everything in a massive, dark space. I also added a Master Compressor at the end that kicks in at -6dB, so you can go crazy with the distortion without destroying your speakers or clipping your DAW.

Use it for:

• Horror game ambience.
• Scary movie backgrounds.
• Dark industrial textures.
