Breastfeeding with Confidence

Mom-to-mom support for the early days breastfeeding to help you latch your baby, overcome pain, and establish a confident feeding experience.

I cried everyday for 6 weeks feeding my first baby...

Breastfeeding did NOT come naturally to me the first time I journeyed through postpartum.

After just a few days of a poor latch and intense pain, I found myself dreading nursing my baby. Between feeds, I spent hours searching for answers, trying to figure out how to make breastfeeding hurt less and how to get a better latch.

What I wanted most was confidence. I wanted to know whether my baby was getting enough milk, whether I was building a healthy milk supply, and whether breastfeeding would ever stop hurting.

Thankfully, that wasn't the end of the story.

As I learned more about breastfeeding and improved our latch, feeding became more comfortable, more effective, and far less stressful. I went on to breastfeed that first baby for almost two years, along with each of her younger siblings who followed.

That experience also showed me how little support many mothers have during those early postpartum weeks. You're recovering from birth, learning your baby's cues, adjusting to life with a newborn, and trying to learn an entirely new skill—all at the same time.

That's why I created this course.

I filmed these lessons when our fifth baby was just a few weeks old so the newborn stage would be fresh in my mind.

My goal isn't to replace a lactation consultant or medical professional, but to come alongside you as an experienced breastfeeding mother and help you build confidence in getting a comfortable, effective latch, particularly in the gap between realizing you need help and when a professional is available for an appointment or consultation.

Because when you understand what a good latch looks like, how to achieve one, and how to recognize when your baby is feeding effectively, breastfeeding becomes a little less overwhelming and a lot more manageable.

What You'll Learn in this Course:

By the end of this course, you'll be able to:

  • Recognize the signs of a comfortable, effective latch
  • Make adjustments to improve your baby's latch and reduce latch-related pain
  • Identify whether your baby is feeding effectively and getting enough milk
  • Use a variety of breastfeeding positions to support feeding throughout the day and night
  • Feel more confident and less overwhelmed during those early weeks of breastfeeding

This course is designed to feel like sitting down to chat with an experienced breastfeeding mom who remembers exactly what those early newborn days felt like.

I'll walk through what a latch is, why it matters, and how to recognize the signs of a deep, effective latch. I'll explain what a good latch looks like, feels like, and even sounds like so you can feed your baby with greater confidence.

We'll also talk about how to tell whether your baby is getting enough milk without relying on pumping or measuring every ounce.

And because breastfeeding is a hands-on skill, I don't just tell you what to do—I show you.

Using my own newborn, I'll demonstrate several breastfeeding positions and share practical tips for positioning both yourself and your baby so feeding can be as comfortable and effective as possible.

A note about the demonstrations: In order to clearly demonstrate latch and positioning, this course includes real breastfeeding footage with my newborn baby. Breastfeeding anatomy is visible in some lessons as part of the educational demonstrations.
