Cat Academy

Cat Academy-Warriors Themed Unit Study: A Cross-Curricular Reading Adventure (Books 1–6)

Turn Erin Hunter's *Warriors* series into a full homeschool unit study — six books, seven subjects, and one very satisfying rank-up system that takes your student from Kit all the way to Clan Leader.

Built around *Into the Wild* through *The Darkest Hour*, this unit weaves language arts, art, science, and more directly into the story, so reading time becomes the spine of the whole school day rather than one more box to check.

**What's inside:**

- A **Student Book** with a page for every book — comprehension quests, vocabulary, a Hidden StarClan Sign to spot while reading, and a Moonhigh Reflection to close out each session

- A **rank-ladder badge system** (Kit → Apprentice → Warrior → Senior Warrior → Warrior of Honor → Deputy → Leader) that rewards finishing each book, not the clock

- Worksheets** across Language Arts, Art, and Science: Clan and Healer Studies profiles, Cat Anatomy, a Warrior Code of their own making, a Graphic Novel Planner, a TV Script Planner, a Picture Book Planner, an Essay Planner, Habitat and Animal Research, a Writing Prompts Jar, and more

- Two **colouring trackers** — a 50-paw sketchbook tracker and a 6-paw StarClan Sign tracker

- A full **Parent Guide** with the pacing plan, a block-by-block breakdown tying every activity to its book, and notes on the hands-on extension activities (role-play, debate, poster and model projects)

- An **Answer Key** for every comprehension question

**Flexible by design:** there are no fixed weeks here. Each book unlocks the next rank once its quests are done, so a slower reader never feels "behind" — the whole unit simply moves at your student's pace.

**Perfect for:** homeschool students who love cats, animals, and Clan drama, and parents who want a ready-made way to stretch one favorite series across an entire term of learning.
