The next morning, they take Eli to Saguaro Lake for his first family outing. What should be a day of celebration turns into a nightmare when a FaceTime call from Flagstaff delivers a front-row view of catastrophe: Carter and Christian’s parents are trapped inside a violent, massive earthquake.
