GoldHam Ingot — Gold M1 Buy-the-Dip EA for MT5

A gold 1-minute EA, buy-the-dip type, for traders who want a gold EA that does not stack deep averaging positions.

Why Ingot

• Runs on a 20x-leverage account, from 1,000,000 JPY (about 7,000 USD) of capital

GoldHam Ingot buys only when gold has pulled back inside an uptrend, adds the same small size if the price keeps falling, and closes the whole basket once the price is back above its break-even line. It never sells short.

How it differs from the other GoldHam EAs

• Buy only, pullbacks inside an uptrend (Blade, Shield and Attack trade both directions with deeper averaging)
• Shallow averaging: up to 4 positions per basket, 2 baskets at a time, 4 positions in total
• A fixed stop line: when the total floating loss reaches 25% of the trading capital, it closes everything
• In rough markets (daily range above 1.5% of the price) it lightens up automatically: 1 basket and 2 positions at most

How it trades

• Start: buys only dips inside a gold uptrend, judged across several timeframes
• Add: if the price keeps falling, it buys the same small size again
• Close: the whole basket once the price is back above its break-even line
• About one basket a day; most baskets close on the same day

Backtest (MT5, real ticks, January 2024 to September 4, 2026, 1 lot = 100 oz, 1,000,000 JPY ≈ 7,000 USD, 0.01 lot, default settings)

• Net profit +446,248 JPY
• Profit factor 10.37
• Max drawdown 14% (equity), 0.2% (balance)
• The 25% stop line was never reached in the test
• The test ends on a day with no open baskets

Requirements

• MT5 for Windows (PC or VPS), gold on the 1-minute chart (any broker symbol name for gold)
• A hedging account where 1 lot = 100 oz. It does not run on 1-oz micro accounts
• Trading capital: 0.01 lot per 7,000 USD on a USD account (1,000,000 JPY on a JPY account). The input is in your account currency (default 7,000)
• Run only this EA on the account

The recommended setting is the default (0.01 lot). The last image shows a 1-year backtest at x10, the largest multiplier that did not reach a margin call in that year: open losses went past 60% of the account on several days and the margin level fell to 115%.
