Martial Solal: Un Poco Loco (Unreleased 1966 Los Angeles Sessions)

I've always loved this powerful tune written by Bud Powell, but I've had a hard time finding a good solo piano arrangement… The version that Martial Solal recorded in 1966 seemed to have everything I was looking for! It presents the theme from different angles, and has humor, virtuosity, a bluesy solo and lots of ideas… (you're still going to have to work hard to be able to play this!)
