It All Points to Jesus: Genealogies & The Tabernacle | FREE Printable Bible Study

You know those parts of the Old Testament you’re tempted to skim? 👀📖

The genealogy.

The cubits.

The curtains.

The lampstand.

The sacrifices.

The VERY specific instructions for the Tabernacle. 😂

Turns out… none of it is filler.

The genealogies trace the promise all the way toward Jesus. The Tabernacle teaches us about holiness, sacrifice, cleansing, priesthood, mediation, and what it means for God to dwell with His people.

Then Jesus comes.

The Lamb.

The Bread of Life.

The Light of the World.

Our Great High Priest.

The One who brings us into the presence of God.

And when Jesus died, the veil was torn from top to bottom. 😭

The Old Testament gets SO much richer when you stop reading it as a bunch of random ancient stories and start asking:

“How is this preparing me to understand Jesus?”

Because from Genesis forward, God was telling one incredible story. ❤️

📖 “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” — John 1:14

Save this for the next time you hit three chapters of genealogies and start questioning your commitment to reading the whole Bible. 😂
