Florist Business Profit Tracker
Florist Business Profit Tracker Excel for your flower shop — arrangement costs, orders, flower inventory, and a monthly P and L dashboard. Know what every arrangement actually costs — and whether the month actually made money.
Built for florists and flower shop owners who need to know, arrangement by arrangement and order by order, whether the price covers the flowers, the supplies, the labor, and the rent — without accounting software. If an arrangement is losing money, this workbook shows it before the next wedding season.
WHAT'S INCLUDED (6 sheets):
- Arrangements and Pricing — stems, flower cost and supplies and labor per arrangement, cost per arrangement, price per arrangement, and margin in dollars and percent for every arrangement. Change a flower cost and every order profit updates by formula.
- Orders — date, customer, order type, arrangement, quantity, unit price, revenue, cost per arrangement pulled from the arrangement sheet, profit per order, and margin. Log walk-in, online, wedding and event, and subscription orders in one place.
- Flowers and Supplies — flower or supply, unit, quantity on hand, reorder point, cost per unit, and stock value. Anything at or below its reorder point is flagged LOW STOCK so you buy it before the next order rush.
- Monthly P and L — revenue, flower and labor cost, rent, spoilage and waste, and other expenses by month, Jan-Dec, with net profit and margin. Revenue and flower cost are formulas from the Orders sheet.
- Dashboard — total revenue, orders, arrangements sold, average order value, gross and net profit and margin, best arrangement by margin dollars and by margin percent, best-selling arrangement, best order and best order type, costs by category, and low stock count.
- Cover and How to Use — start here. Yellow cells are the only ones you edit.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Download the Excel file instantly after purchase.
2. On sheet 1, enter each arrangement's stems, flower cost, supplies and labor cost, and price. Cost per arrangement and margin fill in by formula.
3. On sheet 2, log every order: date, customer, order type, arrangement (spelled exactly as on sheet 1), quantity, and unit price. Revenue, cost per arrangement, and profit fill in by formula.
4. On sheet 3, keep quantities on hand current and set a reorder point for each flower and supply. Buy more of anything flagged LOW STOCK before the next order rush.
5. On sheet 4, enter rent, spoilage and waste, and other expenses each month, then check gross and net profit on the Dashboard.
HOW THE NUMBERS WORK:
Cost per arrangement is flower cost plus supplies and labor cost. Margin per arrangement is price per arrangement minus cost per arrangement. Margin percent is margin per arrangement divided by price per arrangement. Gross profit is revenue minus flower and labor cost; net profit is revenue minus flower and labor cost, rent, spoilage and waste, and other expenses. One arrangement is one unit (one bouquet, one spray, one planter).
WHO IT'S FOR:
Florists, flower shop owners, and event florists who want arrangement costs, order profit, flower inventory, and a monthly P and L in one workbook — without accounting software.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This is a digital download. No physical item will be shipped.
- Works in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (upload to Google Drive to open in Sheets).
- Example data for October 2026 is included (12 arrangements, 20 orders, 52 arrangements sold, 14 flowers and supplies). Replace it with your own numbers.
- The example is simplified: October spoilage and waste was 185 — roses bought for a wedding that was postponed — and the funeral spray earns the lowest margin at 33.3 percent. Flower prices move with the season, so update sheet 1 whenever your wholesale prices change.
